Domestic Violence Case Management
An-Nisa’s dedicated case managers provide compassionate support to victims of domestic violence, offering services to both women and men and standing by them every step of the way.
The team work collaboratively with clients to offer a range of comprehensive services that promote safety, stability, and self-sufficiency. Each case manager conducts a thorough assessment of the individual’s situation, ensuring that clients have the necessary resources to feel safe and protected as they take the courageous step to leave an abusive environment

Helpline
An Nisa helpline is available seven days a week. This team serves as the initial point of contact for individuals seeking assistance and helps connect them to the appropriate An-Nisa branch.

Mental Health Care
An-Nisa’s Mental Health team is dedicated to empowering individuals through comprehensive mental health services.
Our specialized team offers trauma-focused therapy through brain assessments and state-of-the-art neurofeedback to enhance emotional regulation and clarity. Additionally, our Wellbeing Advising Program can also provides guidance and practical solutions for life's challenges without the need for therapy. We blend compassion and expertise to foster healing and help individuals achieve lasting well-being.

Financial Case Management
Among many services that An-Nisa offers towards getting our clients to self-sufficiency, short-term financial assistance is one of the most crucial.
After the intake process, each case manager assists the client in carefully assessing the financial needs of the clients and create a plan that will get them to meet their goals as quickly as possible.

Mental Health Education
Our mental health team is working towards educating our community on what the word trauma means and how to seek proper treatment for it. Other topics of mental health education include thriving relationships, treating depression and anxiety, and learning how to overcome trauma, rather than living with it.
Mental health education will be released through videos, articles, social media posts, and in-person workshops.

Legal Referrals
An-Nisa has a legal referral system that can assist in immigration and other legal needs.
An Nisa's legal department assists An Nisa clients with the following: drafting and reviewing legal documents, drafting demand letters, negotiating with opposing counsel and opposing parties, conducting settlements on behalf of clients, drafting settlement agreements, drafting and reviewing immigration documents, assisting clients with the court process.

Prevention & Education
An-Nisa is committed to family preservation and community development through education and awareness programs.
We aim to reduce domestic violence by engaging the community in discussions about abuse and healthy relationships. Our initiatives teach families to recognize signs of abuse and offer referrals for ESL classes, seasonal computer courses, and career coaching to help clients achieve personal and professional goals. Our focus is on empowering individuals to gain self-sufficiency and enhance their lives.

Community Fulfillment
Community Fulfillment was launched to cater to the urgent needs of our community. This branch works on community-wide donation drives, Ramadan drives, and emergency response programs.
Displaced clients assistance is among the most vital services that Community Fulfillment offers. This branch has served almost 3,000 families since August 2021 through settlement, job training/fairs, fulfilling their essential needs, and ensuring they have all the skills needed to be self-sufficient.

Advocacy & Outreach
An-Nisa advocacy team raises awareness through quarterly workshops in various fields and collaborates with media to share survivor stories.
We establish peer support networks and partner with organizations to improve community impact, including training law enforcement and healthcare teams. Our focus on policy changes aims to enhance survivor protections and add accountability through coalitions and mobilizing communities to support essential legislation for justice and safety.

Emerging Leaders
This program’s purpose is to foster a encouraging space with open communication and allow our community's future leaders to grow through genuine authentic relationships.
Emerging Leaders hosts a number of events including volunteering, career coaching, in-person and virtual talks, and other activities dedicated to the 12-17, 18-22, and 23-30 age groups.

Speakers Bureau
An-Nisa is pleased to introduce our Speaker's Bureau team. Our mission is to educate members of our community through workshops, community events, family nights, and more.
The topics that we choose are for the community by the community. The Speakers Bureau focuses all topics on what the immediate need is and what should be addressed. Every event is a dynamic and interactive experience.
